Pat Merryweather-Arges
Pat is Executive Director of Project Patient Care, a not-for-profit bringing forward the voices of the patient, resident, family, caregiver, and community in legislative and policy initiatives. PPC is working collaboratively with providers, government and non-government organizations to advance health and health care policy, health care quality and safety initiatives, and care delivery as well as participating in PCORI initiatives focused on older adults. Pat served as the Executive Director of a Medicare Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization covering three states and Senior Vice President of the Illinois Hospital Association. She serves on several local, national, and international boards and committees and is an active volunteer on health and peacebuilding initiatives in and around Chicago, nationally, and internationally.
